This is not Liberty

There was a time when Democrats accused Republicans of being bought and paid for by corporate interests.
Recent events have made it clear that Democrats are also bought and paid for by the corporations. The difference between the parties is becoming less apparent. While they battle each other in the arena of politics, their actions speak louder than their rhetoric.
Democrats gave hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to the banks, who are now showing massive profits. Despite this fact, the little guy still can’t get a loan.
Even after dozens of campaign promises to the contrary, the Obama administration is spending more than Bush on wars overseas. Under Obama’s watch, spending on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan has grown by 3%, with increases in funding for private military contractors.
Against the will of the American people, Democrats have created a new law requiring that all citizens buy services from the insurance companies, or face fines and even jail. This is the first time in American history that the federal government forced its citizens to by a product or service from a private corporation.
This is not Liberty. This is tyranny.
In the words of Gary Lloyd, “When the government’s boot is on your throat, whether it is a left boot or a right boot is of no consequence.”
