I read your website and like most of your ideas. I am a Conservative and a registered Republican so I agree with your views on energy, immigration and taxes. I do have a lot of questions that I feel need to be answered. What are your qualifications? What is your education? What is your family situation like? Where do you stand on abortion? And what is your stand on the second amendment and gun control? Your website is very vague and needs to offer more. Thank you.

Thank you for writing here and asking questions. Let me answer your questions one at a time.
What are your qualifications? The only qualifications you need to have is 1) each senator must be at least 30 years old, 2) must have been a citizen of the United States for at least the past nine years, and 3) must be (at the time of the election) an inhabitant of the State they seek to represent. I meet all of those but I think that you are looking for something else.
I served 8 yrs in the Marine Corps. This gave me leadership training, ability to deal with pressure, endurance, a sense of pride in this country as well as the ability to look at a situation and develop a solution. I was able to travel around the United States as well as around the world. This showed me that the decisions made in Washington have ramifications at home and abroad. My time within the government and currently in my civilian career has also showed me that the government can waste money and needs to make sure that fraud and abuse is kept to a minimum in every aspect of the Federal Government. I also learned a sense of honor, integrity and commitment. If I believe something I should tell you that. If I say I will do something then I will keep my word.
When I got out of the Marine Corps in 2001 I became a salesman for AXSA Document Solutions, Inc. This job has taught me that if you work hard you can make it in this country. I have the opportunity to visit many different businesses to see how each of them operates and what the concerns of the small business owners are. I also see that we need to get manufacturing jobs back into this country. That is the only way we will be able to have a productive middle class. I also have many non-profit business customers that have show me that there is an overwhelming need in the community. My career has also shown me the consequences of the decisions made by government and how they can damage or help all of the families that depend on a job for their well being.
What is your education? I graduated from Gulf High School in 1993. After that I went into the Marine Corps.
What is your family situation like? I have been married since 2000 to Kelly Tobias. We met and started dating in high school. I have one son named Michael that is 21 months old. Both of my parents live in New Port Richey. I have 2 sisters that also are married and live in New Port Richey as well.
Where do you stand on abortion? I personally do not like abortion but I think that the people should make that choice. I would oppose late term abortions. I am for parental notifications for children under 18 unless the parent was involved. If you want to get an abortion I do not think the government should pay unless in times of rape.
And what is your stand on the second amendment and gun control? I believe in the right for individuals to arm themselves. There can be some restrictions to this i.e. waiting periods, limits on convicted felons and age requirements.

This is an open letter to everyone in Washington. The American people have had enough. We are tired of both sides fighting over who will control the American people without fixing any of the problems. We are tired of the promises that you make to get us to vote for you just to have you change your mind once you get elected. We can no longer allow you to divide the country along blue and red states. We are tired of politicians who toe the party line instead of following their beliefs and ideals. We are tired of special interest groups lining the pockets of politicians with campaign contributions just to get our tax money allocated back to those same industries that the special interest groups lobby for. We are sick of being the world’s policeman because you think that this country should spread peace with the barrel of a gun. We are tired of living in fear brought on by your words. We are really sick of the Tax policy used to PUNISH and DIVIDE the American people.
Because of what you have done over the decades to this country I only have one more thing to say to you all. YOU ARE ALL FIRED. The American people have realized that neither party will fix the problems that this country has. You do not care. All you care about is amassing power for your own personal gain so you can stay in Washington for as long as you can. Both sides have had the majority in the house, senate and the presidency and where did that get us. I will tell you, NOWHERE!!! You have interjected yourself in the affairs of private businesses and removed the leaders of those companies. Well now it is your turn. We are coming to get rid of all of you. I do not care if you are a Republican or a Democrat. As far as I am concerned you all need to go.
We need elected officials that will follow the constitution and work on the real problems of the American people. We need elected officials that will stop spending us so far into debt that there will be no way out. We need elected officials that will free Americans from the need of the federal government. We need elected officials that will return this country back to the people. We need politicians that will bring businesses back to this country without giving them a handout or a penalty. We need politicians that will listen to the people not the special interest groups. We need politicians that will do the right thing no matter the consequences. The American people are screaming for a TRUE CHANGE in Washington and you are not listening.
We want you to heed our warning. This is not a threat of violence but statement that we will do everything within the law to have all of you removed. If there is anyone in Washington that has any spine left please get out of the party that you belong to because we are coming to tear this 2 party system down. We will make sure that laws are enacted that will ensure this will never happen again. I will make sure that the people here in the state of Florida have someone that they can vote for. I am sure there will be other people in other states that will follow suit. The 2 party system has broken this country and WE WILL make sure that we will elect people that will FIX IT.
